On behalf of the City of Carlsbad, the Carlsbad Unified School District is contracting for the installation of 1000 linear feet of 36 inch RCP storm drain pipe in Chestnut Ave beginning at Valley St. Work includes installation of street cleanouts, curb inlets, curb repair, excavation, pipe installation, backfill, patch paving, traffic control, restriping, and other miscellaneous associated street work. The project will be contracted with the School District and inspected by the City.

Install approximately 180 overhead projectors and controls in classrooms at 8 different schools. The District will furnish the Hitachi LCD projectors and contractor will install. Work includes low voltage wiring, power, conduit, outlets, etc. for the projectors and associated components. Contractor will furnish and install Extron Pole Vault control system, 2 ceiling mounted speakers, cables, pendant mounts, manual projection screens, etc. for a fully operational system tied into the District’s network. The 8 schools are at Aviara Oaks Elementary, Aviara Oaks Middle, Calavera Hills Elementary, Calavera Hills Middle, Carlsbad Village Academy, Jefferson Elementary, Pacific Rim Elementary, and various rooms at Carlsbad High.

Carlsbad Unified School District is re-modernizing or outfitting new kitchens with equipment such as refrigerators, freezers ovens, milk coolers, stainless steel racks etc. The District will furnish new kitchen equipment for 7 kitchens. Work includes delivery and installation of kitchen equipment at 3 kitchens at Valley Middle School, Carlsbad High School, Buena Vista Elementary and Magnolia Elementary.
